William DeVaughn - Be thankful for what you got - US TEC 45

This is the later 1980 recording - I know it came out over here in the UK on EMI (I have that on 45 & 12")

I ONLY need it on TEC thanks

Cheers

Steve

Is this the same cut as the album, more modern sounding

That's the one Mark, cheap as chips but sounds a million dollars!

Actually, it was a fairly big record on its release in 1980 on the old 'jazz funk' scene

I bought the LP as an import back-in-the-day from Spin Inn

I have it on US 'Tec' LP, UK 'EMI' 45 & UK 'EMI' 12" but I'm looking for the US 'Tec' 45

Cheers

hi , this is version is the german issue , with long version on the flip, I didn't know you could get nearly 7 mins on a 7",

Oh I'm liking that BUT you're right 7 mins on a 45 is crazy - seen it a few times and always fooks the sound up cos the grooves are too close to each other - that's why the 12" was invented  :)

But lovely to see a German EMI copy and still nice to have for the 3:44 version - nice one

anyone got a spare tec copy for me if Steve is sorted thanks
