hi,

i got a dottie an millie issue on topper in view but i´m not sure if it is an original one

So it would be very nice if you can help me with your longtime experience and  special knowledge

The attached files are the copy

Above the "T-106 45 RPM 2:42" and the left darker green stripe is something scratched in, if you zoom in.

But i´m not sure :-(

I hope you can identify this copy as an original!

HERE i got a copy presented at collectorsfrenzy in order to differentiate:

So, why i am wondering:

In The collectorsfrenzy Issue there is more space between the "Topper Music Corp. Detroit, Mich." lettering to the center, than the Other Copy.

So please i need your knowledge ....

Thx In Advance

Zanetti

  • If it's got a moulded label then it can't be a carver by the way.

  • It may well have been booted here in Belgium but it would have the letter "SABAM" on it, so it's an original.

  • :hatsoff2:Hi All...If that's not an original, I will eat my hat? :ohmy:PS never Booted anywhere I tells you :thumbsup:DAVE K

There's no boot of this record, yours is fine.

By the way this may have even gone to second pressing, Anglo American had literally hundreds of them in the early 90's, I must have bought 3 of them as they were only £10 each.
