'Black type' issue. Quite a few light marks under a strong light but plays great. Very slight ringwear to label on 'Midnight' side.

Thanks for that - I did offer it but he wanted a minter so I thought I'd put it on here instead

 

I have just been asked if it is a 100% original - I certainly thought it was and bought it as an original but how do you tell - anyone know? It looks like one to me - I have had it since the early 1990's when it was first popular and don't remember there being a lookalike reissue around that time. 

 

NB. in fact I described it incorrectly as a 'black type' issue but in fact it is like the one on the Youtube clip with red writing on a black oval shape. The runout groove says TTS 01504     STXS-0817-1      SS-01462      -L NIX if that means anything.

In fact can't find any evidence that there has even been a lookalike reissue of this!

 

NB. there is one on Ebay at £250, same as mine but M-. 14 days left and 10 watchers - now making me think I have underpriced!!

Fair enough then - have probably priced about right

There are two different looking original pressings one vinyl and one styrene maybe thats why people think it's been reissued

john is correct a few different original presses same as all the other truth 45`s...three i think...not been reissed in this coupling....sold a mint-    copy for £125 recently....only 1 pm..no fighting over it

I was the same...sold a mint- red label for £130 1 pm a guy putting me onto his friend to buy.

 

ive had it on beige & red label,both proper as far as I know.

i think its on the orange one as well....or would that be please dont say goodbye ...im certain i seen it....only got the lp now.. it`ll do me

 

 

 

in fact just looked at that you tube clip of val`s..thats orange with the black logo so yes 3 original presses of it
