Yes they look nothing like each other.

You'd know as soon as you saw it. And the boots got a bevelled edge.

Original has heavier vinyl, scratched in matrix, label colouor is deeper red.

I can't see it Pete thats the problem . And asking if the guy to describe the shade of red is not very reliable I don't think.

I had already looked at the one on ebay and sent the pic to the seller of the copy I was after so she could compare. She was hardly convincing about it being different so thought someone may have a definative way to tell.

Was worth a try.

Got the details of a genuine one last night at Lifeline.

Ged if you compare the scans on the anoraks website to the one on ebay

they are different..ebay one had dip in the vinyl towards centre and type is all blurred/smuged it just looks different layouts are almost but not the same..bigger font on the boot..
