Aguilera Sample

The new Christina Aguilera single "Ain't no other man" has a sample in it that I recognise and is driving me mad. The brass "stabs" throughout the chorus and in the break are from a 60s club soul record that used to get frequent plays down at Happiness Stans. Anyone know more?

yes it was at the jazz bistro in the early nineties, where I cut my teeth. The talc room featured DJs Danny deCourtelle, that girl Lynn, Tim Boogaloo, Irish Paul, it was run by Percy who now heads fashion label PPQ

The brass stabs are sampled from Luis Aviles & The Latin Blues Band "(I'll Be A) Happy Man"on SPEED:

The tune also samples The Soul Seven's "Cissy's Thang" on SOULTEX:

Although the Luis Aviles is similar the brass stabs are definately from the Moon People, I initially got this from my work (PRS) database and this is what the record company have notified!

Just had a listen to Moon People and I'm sure you're right. The Luis Aviles is extremely similar though.
