Intruders But You Belong To Me/Jack Be Nimble.

Promo copies are on Musicvoice  Cat No. M 504, label design exactly like Musicor.

Issue copies, according to JM's book, are on Musicor Cat No. M 504.

So where does that leave the issue copy I have which is on Musicor Cat No MU 1055 ???????

After digging about a bit I cant find any other Musicor 45's with a single M prefix, in fact it appears Musicor 45's started at MU 1001.

  • Musicor M 504 is the Canada release. See here: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/The-Intruders-But-You-Belong-To-Me-Jack-Be-Nimble-Musicor-504-Soul-Rare-NM-/181903991595?hash=item2a5a52a32b

Yes that's the one I have, the thing is I can find that one is listed in Musicor discographies, whereas I cannot find M 504, which is the one listed in JM's guide.

Musicor Cat No. M 504 does not exist since Musicor starts with number 1001 ! Manship mistake...

Thats what I thought too.

Problem solved then, I did wonder how it had that number, especially as its the same as the Musicvoice Demo.

US label most probably sent demo copies of each release up to Canadian company. Thus they saw the demo 45 numbering system and adopted that for their own releases.

I don't know about this 45 being a bit of a puzzle ....... It is KEGSY himself that's A BIT OF A PUZZLE to me !!
