Cold Blood is the best version of this song, next best by the Generation, which came out on Ace records BGP label...outside of those two and Babs Lynn, it may have been covered again I guess,,,

Cold Blood got a release in Australia on a nice green Atlantic 45... :-))

About 15 minutes each day (I'm on the computer at home), coz there's always loads of interesting stuff to come across.

Used to do the same with my old B&S mags before t'internet came along.

Also loads of good stuff in old US newspapers that are on-line but searching thru them is a lot more 'hit & miss'.

great to hear the're  still around, will try to check there contemporary stuff out.

 

They seem to have been angling for the same musical bag that Janis Joplin + Big Brother & HC were after .......... rock versions of soul songs ...

rock with brass was all the rage back in the late 6ts/early 7ts, love it myself, the best and most successful being Blood, sweat and tears
