October 27, 200618 yr Itzy is a label from Pittsburgh that reissued records from the 60s onwards. I think there are some original recordings on the label, but for the most part, it's like Lost Nite and similar labels. -Jason (I'm doing an article about Pittsburgh, so I grabbed it for myself, too.)

October 27, 200618 yr Either MLL or Sounds Of Lane, can't remember which! TONE Hi I have The Sounds Of Lane on ITZY #5 & Mickey Lee Lane on ITZY #6 Not sure, if they are both Boots as ITZY is the local Label for Mickey Lee Lane I am told. I thought it was a Re-Issue label - So I'm Not Sure I will have to look in the Deadwax for clues. However from Soul Bowl I have Mickey Lee Lane on Swan and The Sounds Of Lane on Cobblestone DEMO Edited October 27, 200618 yr by 45cellar

The Itzy label is from Pittsburgh and are still going today, with CDs full of 'Oldies' that were popular in the sixties, that area. I've seen one release on the label (non-soul) that was distributed by Gateway records, and the Soul/Mickey Lee Lane ones do look like soething to come out of Philly (similar to the BB label). This leads me to believe that at least some of the records were official, and issued to cash in on the 'local' hits. Maybe they were a back door 'cash' job for Swan records? Or genuine re-issues to cash in on a very limited market?
