The first version of this song was by Tom Jones. It was originally written for Sandie Shaw who turned it down.

Old Tom got his pension fund in one with this song and I'm amazed how many covers there are, and so diverse in backgrounds.

Yep the backing is pretty good and to be fair  she does a reasonable job on the vocals  .
