I know this has probably been covered many times but i have only been on here a year or so . But has this heat wave caused any problems with records and what are more susceptible.  Vinyl, styrene or acetates?

seriously though, no effect as far as I can see but that depends where you keep em. I would not handle pressings too long as they might warp, and under no circumstance put them in your car..

The hot, dry summer here in Denmark hasn't caused any of my records to warp, but it made it illegal for us to burn our witches on Mid-Summer's Eve, due to fear of the fires spreading! 😎

Left a copy of a fairly expensive 45 in the car once. The sun turned it into a black vinyl fruit bowl. 

I've mentioned this before but I also inadvertently frisbeed a copy of Prayin by Harold Melvin from Lady Bay Bridge right into the the River Trent. 

 

How do you inadvertently lose a record off a bridge. Ive heard of people leaving them on top of cars and dj's putting them back in the wrong box and holding a sleeve upside down.  Or is that what happened?
