Can someone please tell me what is the correct matrix on an original Atlantic issue copy of the Classic Pointer Sisters spin - Send Him Back. 

    I have recently acquired a copy from Germany and would like to know if it's legit or not.

This is one i got stung on many years ago.There is a thread on Here if you search for it with all the info.Think on that scan the top looks a bit brownish as opposed to the hard black of the original.

Thanks Patto, I will have a look for the thread. 

Turns out the issue copy of the Pointer Sisters single I bought was not an original and I did get a full refund so a happy ending.  

First time I heard this was around 77/8 at Wakefield Unity Hall. Almost straight away it was pressed up with very good fakes! 

 

The demos are nice!

Glad it worked out mate but it is frustrating i feel your pain.Its good to raise these issues as we all have been stung by various boots over the years.

Was lucky enough to get hold of one of those lovely red and white demo,s. Didn't realise at the time how rare they actually are. .
