I have this WD of The Valentines - Breakaway - Sound Stage 7 .Im trying to find out if it is an authentic promo .It is styrene ,has a delta number 81240 , and some sort of small stamp in the run out also.Ive added some photos to help .Many thanks for any info .

I would say it's legitimate. The delta number would be from June, 1970 so it should be okay.

Many thanks for your help ,not sure what the release date was for this record ,but that would be too early for a bootleg I guess .

Here's the review from the June 27th, 1970  issue of Cashbox. I believe the 6-70 at the bottom of the label referred to the release date.

Not sure this was ever pressed up but do recall a red reissue being available back in the 70s.

Here's a picture of mine. The small stamp looks like it says "music city". There is also a number scratched in the deadwax which is "S - 826". There are a couple of other very small markings/stamps. 

I think this is another one of those different pressing plant variations. Looks OK to me.

...morning,and here’s a picture of mine,only with a different text layout to Bo’s and Eddie’s...and it does look like a MUSIC CITY stamp too...
