Was spinning ace 12" double sider 'All over your face / Don't need you now' last night and got me thinking what a voice - overlooked / underrated or what?   

 

H e is certainly is and I love love his cover of fever

 

But lost of all my favourite track and when I played it nobody new what it was 

 

Yes! - A Ronnie Dyson thread. I rated him highly and you're right his star has waned. Favourite album is 'Love In all Flavours' from which these two come -fantastic melodies and those sweet strings  - so lovely.

and lady in red was massive when I was a young un great artist.

Soul Train clip above makes you realise what a brilliant and distinctive voice he had - almost a unique way of phrasing, can't think of anyone else much he sounded like - maybe Darrow Fletcher if anyone
