A superb collection , with the exception of the Major Lance track, which is a strange "filler" as a  Classiest Rarity.

I've always been a fan of the Major's and still have the copy that I found in a Record Corner early 70's soul pack.

Strangely the promo's are on Blue Volt , while the issue's are on orange,  nice but not "rare" .

Compiling a "new" Various "Northern/Crossover" album after 35  years ( unbelievably so) at it must be a nightmare

but there are still classics out there if the tapes and rights are available..

No doubt the sleeve notes alone will be worth the cost of the CD so it's on pre-order for me.
