Was the source taken from a vinyl copy rather then original reels?

the sound files were provide by Universal Music group in digital format having been digitised and mastered by them.

both the samples were processed by site, this may have resulted in a lowering of quality due to a settings error when saving

they both have now been replaced back to the original ones which came from the MD Records site

though bear in mind that these are also lower quality than the youtube
