Can anyone give me a clue, I was at the Rightrack doo in Darlo last night and one of the djs played a really uptempo version of 'The Bottle' I didn't catch the artists name although he did say feat Gil Scott Heron, I have a copy of the slower original Scott Heron but I want this fast one too. Can anyone help me out?

I quite like some re-works, but straight covers I do wonder if there is a need or is it just lack of writing talent. Mind you the original artist or estate do get some money from it I suppose ?

I could never understand why Brother To Brother was so popular. So bland. GSH has far more power

I used to have it by Jay & Cathy's Clowns, can't remember anything about it now though so it can't have made much impression on me.

Anyone ever bothered to flip over the original Gil Scott Heron 45 of The Bottle on Strata East ?

Absolutely glorious dancer called "Back Home" , deserves to be bigger than even The Bottle !
