I love discovering new tunes but this is an old track played in the 70s and I can only remember a catchy a sort of stutter in the chorus, something like ".. fa, fa, far from you.." or " crie, crie, cry I've you" ( trying to capture the sound with the strange spelling ) ...or it probably could have been .." ..a-my, my, my ..to you"

Sorry that there is not much and unfortunately my singing isn't that good either. I don't hold out much hope but I'm glad I have found and joined the site.

Thanks

I do love the helpful nature of this site, thank you for your suggestions so far ... the song had a more Northern soul, less slow and soulful. It was a fast-ish tempo and the singer was either female or male like Frankie Vali, not deep voiced. Thanks again

Perhaps something like the Newbeats - Crying My Heart Out ?

Fast-ish tempo, more "Northern Soul" than "Soul". High pitched, Frankie Vali vocal style.

Thank you all so very much ... You are very knowledgeable and what I like is the fact that I have been introduced to 5 new great tracks, that I had never heard before. And special thanks to Tony Foster ..that is it !!! I now know it was 'I Surrender' that I was trying to describe.
