Can anyone confirm existence of the:
45 "Harold Alexander: Country soul - Atlantic 3212 (not the same sided promo) with a scan?
45 "Chocolate Chips: Funky chicken - Doré 838 (maybe with a scan) ... was already mentioned in the 90s

Thanks for any help.(info@funk.ch)

I'm sorry, I have never heard it. Have you checked with Ady Croasdell? I think Ace/Kent have access to the Dore master tapes.

Thank you very much Sebastian. Do you have ever heard it? Is it funky or is just the title like that? As its mentioned nothern-soul, but there are many northern-soul with strong edge to the funky sounds.

John Greek had a group called The Puddin' Heads (1964). He really seemed to like group "desert" names it seems. The Chocolate Chips will be late 1969 or 1970.

Seems so. I've checked the release dates of the 45s with numbers before and after. This 45 is from 1970. There is a previous soul 45 by Chocolate Chips that was released 1969.

I missed that connection! The sound on that Puddin' Heads 45 is absolutely BRUTAL for being from 1964. Top notch teenbeat/garage!
