April 10, 200718 yr Shute me old mate now i've known you for a lot of years mate and i must say i'm shocked, however i know where you are coming from mate, perhaps more the scene rather than the music's fault, have a long serious think mate because despite what you might be feeling like now if you do sell the records chances are you will regret it long term, i'm still out there on and off doing a bit of DJ'ing but too be honest i enjoy the music either on or off the scene and that will never change, remember the music came first then the scene without the tunes...well you know the answer... top bloke see you soon. April 11, 200718 yr hi Shute now how you feel,things get on top of you whatever you try people arnt happy when I put a list out and people dont buy good stuff at reasonable prices I thought about calling it a day but step back a bit....im doing something most people would love to do like following "The Alex" some low times,some highs (Still waiting) how many people would like to d.j most dancers I would think how many people would love to own great records not just hear them at home on cd keep your head up,most people regret selling up they come back after a break and buy them all back at twice the price they bloody sold em keep on going shute ,youll only regret it in the long run have a bit of a break,keep the 45s,youll come back stronger

April 11, 200718 yr Author Thank pals for all the support and kind words even though I've sold up, I'll still be involved with the Stafford Rangers Soul Nights (3Bs Soul Club) as I started this up 3yrs ago, running this with my mate John Fisher. Like Mark B. said ''its the music that counts'', yes this is true , but lost my way and don't know where to go.....isnt that a line from some crappy tune lololo ! Came to the conclusion that its time for me to sell up and do something else as all my time (and money) had been devoted to our love of soul music. been on the sceen since 1973, loved all of it until recently....... thanks again and I'll pop my head in somewhere someday/night. a lost soul Shute

That means you'll be back. If you ever sell them others, give me a call.
