But if you search and find the thread on here re the Valencia Allnighter you'll find that a couple of DJ's from Barcelona are playing there. I'm sure that they can be contacted and could answer your question.

I know its normally heaving on a weekend, great city.

If you want a good night out regardless of music, try the hard rock cafe. Dancing on the tables etc.

I tried to set up a 2007 weekender in that area, but was let down.

I also went out to spin some for an expat scooter club but was let down again.

I'm sure they're decent lads though, and do put on their own small scale Northern nights.

I have also heard that a very recent expat has the intentions of getting something going in that area. Apparently a September do in a 900 capacity venue, with 400 locals and expats already showing interest. Who knows what may follow.

If I get more definate news I'll post it up on this site.

the magic in the air club up by the zoo woz great...mind you it was a few years ago.

In August, almost everyone is on holidays in Barcelona and regular events may not start until September ("The Boiler Club" is my favourite www.theboilerclub.com)

The poppier "Magic in the air club" will hold the Magic Weekend from 16th to 18th August though(https://www.feveronline.net/)

You can also try the small bar "Barbara Ann" in Taquigraf Garriga 163 (although not near the city center) or visit the following record shops for flyers and information on events:

I'm afraid I don't agree with a previous comment: as a local, I wouldn't recommend the Hard Rock Cafe...
