JUMPING JOANS GOTTA BE RIGHT! GREAT STAFFORD SPIN AGAIN, ON THE SAME LABEL AS SILENT TREATMENT! - BOTH MIGHTY GOOD TUNES!

Isn't this Arin Demain.

Isn't this Arin Demain.

Don't think so...maybe you have your wires crossed, Tony (a thought that would probably have you reaching for a soldering iron!)...Arin Demain also recorded as Lord Jim (& The VIPs) on Blue Star...plus as Ernie Lucas on Okeh and Karl Evans on Skyway. I reckon he should've gone for Lord Demain or Ernie Evans, though on reflection the latter doesn't actually conjur up a soulful image!

I remember you said that about Karl Evan's and so I though it could be this track as well.

Listening to the recorder's and the general sound balance that's why I threw the Gary Haines into the equation as well??

All very similar

JOHNNY DAYE IT IS. LOVE IT. NOW THE BAD NEWS PLEASE.

HORRIBLY RARE?

He cut the record for Blue Star in 1964 when he was sixteen years old...not bad eh?......There's a great article/interview + discography on Johnny Daye in issue 47 of David Cole's 'In The Basement' magazine.......well worth the subscription for this mag' I think

Thanks chaps. I see there's a NM jobbie on ebay, a 'buy now' purchase. 150US, a little steep methinks...
