There is a bootleg release on a label called 'Ruby' - presumably the intention was to make people think it was a rare 'local' label release prior to being released on Columbia.

...and to confuse matters even further, around the same time the Wonderettes "I feel strange" was booted (IIRC) on Ruby - on which it DID come out as a local issue!

Lee David - Temptation Is Calling My Name - Columbia Demo, you sell some over the years but there are certain records which you just can't part with and this is one of those, had mine donkey's years and even with the two felt pen crosses it still looks good and sounds even better, one of the classic Northern records up there with the best of them.

Another one of those records which is harder on the issue rather than the demo
