What is its true value? chris Various copies ranging from vg to nr mint have been coming up on ebay for the last 8 months or so. I watched 5 copies go for between £100 - £180 before getting lucky with a great copy for about $80 incl shipping about 4 months back. A cracking instrumental IMHO. I've heard folk refer to it as an 'rnb record' - when it's obviously a load of US session men trying to do Ska ('twas the Church St Five I believe??) - even has a (piss-poor) flip side called 'Everybody do the Ska'. This track's a breath of fresh air for me - a quirky, upbeat, 60's instrumental - could do with more tunes like this!

February 11, 200817 yr Demand for this tune is huge so i suppose its got to be about right.I cant stand it myself. Just because a record is in " demand " , and goes for high money , sadly does not make it a good one ...... I , despite hearing it at venues , cannot find pleasure in it ........ Malc Burton

I , despite hearing it at venues , cannot find pleasure in it ...... Malc Burton But is it rare, cause I wonder if in a few weeks/months whether the record dealers/ebayers/american friends will make what they can out of it, then the interest wains and suddenly, bang, there all over the place . February 12, 200817 yr But is it rare, cause I wonder if in a few weeks/months whether the record dealers/ebayers/american friends will make what they can out of it, then the interest wains and suddenly, bang, there all over the place . dunno, i was looking for this about 2 years ago, and couldn't find anything via Google other than the Ace CD with the track on, and was nothing on ebay for at least a year. then they've becoming up regularly, some sellers with multiple copies, but strangely with several different label designs and varying conditions.
February 14, 200817 yr had 2 a couple of years ago, vg+ at best, gave one away, sold other for a tenner, not over average record for a r &b reggae instro imo, suprised it went up so much, nice clean ones hard to find, ezzie ps i think it might have come out on another label also ?

February 14, 200817 yr It's a quality record, gets quite a few spins on the mod/rnb scene, proper party tune but i suppose it's all down to opinion
February 21, 200817 yr just saw this mentioned somewhere as another Pittsburgh hit (the Back Slop b-side of course). has anything been written about this scene? they seem to have had some great mod-friendly records played (Pow Wow another good example)
