Anybody who can date the introduction to the scene of this momentus piece of music?

Sounds like it could have been from the Stafford era, but I wasn't there, so could be way out....

It's never really been played. The other side, Do I, was a mid 77 spin and was popular enough, just about, to be booted, and the b side was a tape swappers record until it got a few plays out in the late 90's.

Brilliant record, for some reason or other only heard this for the first time last year

Had spins in 80's, never really had it's day or consistently played. My mate used to spin this at Warrington, his first nighter as a DJ. Seen it on the odd playlist recently too.
