I suppose an example of a newly made tune that has been played is "Bless Your Heart" by General Johnson, and this got me thinking that there were probably quite a few 45's that certain enterprising DJ's have played on the soul scene in the past 10 years or so?

This could include unreleased 45's that got a legit issue such as "Suspicion".....

I'm looking for suggestions - can anyone help on this?

Not sure if these qualify but....

Jimmy Ruffin - He who picks a rose

Barbara Mcnair - baby a go-go

I know these were booted, not sure if they got a legit release?

Thanks Guys, anyone got any other suggestions for recently released 45's that

have been played on the scene? Wasnt there a 45 by Grace Jones played fairly recently?

...Umm, let's see now, there's Frank Popp, Duffy.......

Chuck Brooks - Making Last Minute Plans, released some years ago, on UK grapevine.

Nicole Willis & The Soul Investigators had a couple released 2005 I think. Very tidy. 1 called "My 4 Leaf Clover", & "If This

Ain't Love" being the other. I need to dig these out again.

Sharon Jones - How Long Do I Have To Wait - daptone

Angel - Break Out The Tears - Real Side

Al Williams - Try Them - Grapevine

Was telling Cunnie how much I was liking Angel at Qube recently. "You bloody northern lads, we've been playing that for 3 years"! Great sound that fits within the last 10 certainly, and would never want to argue with Cunnies taste, not with that tongue.

Sven Zetterberg - Heartaches Was All You Got... well i really like it
