Indeed!!!

Young Callum has a stock copy as well...

The first I've seen apart from the one currently on eBay.

took the words right out of my mouth Joe.

the 3 copies I've had have all been W/D's.

Went for pennies under £234 in the end, not bad for VG+ condition?

Thanks for your replies anyway (I'll wait 'til it's booted ahem ph34r.gif )

Poor comparison.

so bad i struggled to sell a mint demo on eBay - think it went for a tenner in the end.

You strugled to sell it for more then a tenna coz its not worth much more,

as for a poor comparison, Its the same piece of music, Agree its not the better version but its better then waiting for it to be booted.

Out of intrest which version came first

Pretty sure ZuZu Man was released before the Watts 103rd St Rhythm Band.

Scan of Watts 103rd St Rhythm Band below.

Yeah thoiught so - was looking on Craig Moerer and Music Stack and a lot of Dr John stuff come up "Zu Zu Mamou" etc. Anything else he done on a par with Zu Zu Man?

  • 3 weeks later...

Both versions of "Zu Zu Man" were released on an extremely rare LP in New Zealand on the "Family" label , the LP is actually credited to "Dr John and the Night Trippers" ....

Anyone know if it's been booted?? Picked up an A&M copy on e bay on 'Buy it now' about 6 months back for $7

don't think so, just has no 'book price'. a friend picked one up while in the US recently from a shop for 50c (without knowing the track, the jammy git!). had a few good Buy-It-Now bargains on Ebay, but none quite as good as that...

Don't think so.

Nice price.

I paid $12 for mine plus shipping - mind I did get 19 other singles in with it at that price.

Will stick a pic of it up as soon as I can to make sure..... but I'm confident it's legit..... goes someway towards making up for all the records i've overspent on recently
