Burnley nighter was on plus a few local midlands venues and not forgetting it is also holiday season l suppose this added to numbers being a little down. Great atmosphere, lovely venue, fantastic friendly people, all with one thing in common, no matter which room they chose to be in, and that was to enjoy the night and dance their feet off to good soul music. Totally agree with you Sandi. My 1st time at this venue and i wasnt dissappointed. Great atmosphere , great sets by Neil Jones , Soul Sam , Andy McCabe , keeping the floor busy all night. Neil Rushton Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Went away on holiday after the night and only back now so not posted before - would just like to say thank you to everyone for making it such a good night. It was the hottest day of the year so was not sure what kind of night it was going to be and arrived before everyone else and then had to leave as the Hotel was evacuated because of a fire alarm going off That meant everything started late. Yes numbers less than the debut night but thought it was a great turnout for the time of the year and in the heat, many thanks to all the DJ's, but especially the Middleton team - Andy McCabe, Neil Jones and Soul Sam - for making the long trek.
