I've always loved the flip side of Lenis Guess' tune "Just Ask Me", the track is called "Workin' For My Baby". I've had a crackly, tinny Real Player version of it for years and I finally found the 45. I bought the 45 on the S.P.Q.R. label and was shocked at how different this version was. It was much slower and there were no back-up singers. I sped the record up and soon realized that the version I've been loving all this time was actually a sped up recording... that's fine but where are the back up singers I love so much? I went so far as to find and purchase the 45 again on the UK Route label hoping the later pressing was a remix... but it was just the same.
Here is my question:
Where can I find the alternate version of "Workin' For My Baby" by Lenis Guess? I'm at a loss and any help would be much apreciated.
