Try find a r/deck thats off centre.seriously tho' dont play it out too much messin' about but at home just using the arm too see when its right,bet you can make a off centre centre with thick card,got a few myself allway seem to manage to do it its good when you get a good copy later on tho'.

Cut a circle of cardboard the same size as the dink. Just use your adaptor as a template.

Insert into your 45. Place a UK 45 over your Arock 'MISsterpiece' and mark the UK spindle hole with a pen.

Take out your cardboard middle and punch with a hole punch.

Reinsert your cardboard middle and enjoy all the cards on the table....

File a pop in center out so that the record is centered correctly, as in the scan. I'll eventually get round to gluing a piece of plastic over the oval hole with a round hole in it.

you have to find out exactley where the disc is off !

I use a round middle which I draw a felt tip around over the label (once it is playing exact of course)

then its a case of filing the extra vinyl out !

you can either mark the correct lay edge with pen (if there are 2 good sides) - or glue a plastic press in centre to the correct lay edge !

this will work !!!!

some really good ideas. once i did tweak a center hole over very slightly by sanding one side and peaning the other side very lightly. it took great care and i protected the labels with paper i believe. it was just enough and didn't ofset the flip side enough to bother it. try it at your own risk of course.

The Gwen Owens demo is off centre i dont play it .I just look at it and pull one off

I don't understand what you are saying, a record pressed off centre is a record pressed off centre that means the grooves don't line up with the circular revolutions of the spindle or spindle plug.

i thought the original poster was talking about the hole being off centre to the rest of the vinyl(ie not int middle of 7") ,rather than the actual grooves being off centre to the hole?.Maybe its late,and i'm not making sense.

Not sure what you mean, the grooves were off centre with an ordinary adaptor so I placed the record on top of another record and lined the outer edges of both records up but the Maurice Williams was still off centre. Next I made a cardboard centre and then copied the measurements onto the plastic centre, plays perfect now if you put the spindle to the filed out side of the centre.
