Sold a mint minus copy about 8 months ago for £450. I think £400+ is realistic in top condition.

What would a tidy JA Stag copy be worth?

i offered 200 for a vg+ copy on here a while back on uk dr bird

If you really want a realistic price, it's about £250 maximum, and I say this as someone who collects the Doctor Bird label and have done for years. The Patsy single is much harder to find than the Glen Miller. I'd say a Stag copy was worth more than the UK one.

I often wonder if realistic prices exist. I always think there is an indemand price, an out of demand price, an 'im so desperate ive got to have it at any price' and of course an erratic eBay price.

In fairness Pete and on reflection you are probably right with your ''realistic' price. I know when I sold mine privately, it was off the back of one that had been sold on eBay for £487 at the time so I chanced my arm at £450 and I sold it no quibbles.
