Posted December 21, 200816 yr LAST YEAR I BOUGHT AN UNISSUED TUNE NOT A CHANCE IN A MILLION BY ANN BROWNER ON A CARVER FROM A WELL KNOWN DEALER DJ. WHEN I PLAYED IT AT HOME MY TURNTABLE WAS STILL ON 33 INSTEAD OF 45 AND PLAYED AT THE SLOWER SPEED IT IS JOCK MITCHELL. I HAVE SEEN A FEW POSTINGS WITH THIS VERSION SO BEWARE IF YOU ARE OFFERED THIS BEAUTY OR SHOULD THAT BE BOOTy. REGARDS PETE.
December 21, 200816 yr Hope you got your money back Pete What a scam. Some people just take the p*ss don't they. Cheers Richard
December 21, 200816 yr Just another example of people scratching around trying to find 'something different but familar' the lazy way, instead of pushing quality underplayed records (cheap or otherwise).
December 21, 200816 yr Like some many aspects of this scene a fucking disgrace. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
December 21, 200816 yr Was it any better at the faster speed? Actually, I can remember there was an LP track, a bit disco, that was played at Cleethorpes Pier at 45rpm. Cant remember the title though. I have had a few records over the years that either had the labels back to front or in some cases not even the same track to the label. If they were £5 notes with the same problem they would be worth a fortune. Ed
