Avons: Since I Met You Baby (Excello) £25

Brilliant girl group Northern

Vickie Baines: Losing You (Parkway WD) £25

Brilliant midtempo

George Benson: My Womans Good to Me (A+M) £50

Awesome in demand crossover

The Blendtones: Come On Home (Success) £15

Brilliant early male group dancer that has the right sound for now and the potential to be massive. Plays for myself and Brian. Highly recommended.

Martha Carter: Nobody Knows (Ron) £10

Not the same song as the Dickie Wonder classic but a great record nevertheless. An early dancer as featured on the Soul Serenade website.

Gene Chandler: Such A Pretty Thing (Chess) £15

Expect this to be one of the biggest dance tunes of the year at SN thanks to current plays from The Mitch. Totally under-rated, totally brilliant Chicago Northern from one of the greats. Why pay 400+ for it on British when you can have a US issue this cheap?..........or slightly more impressive this Canadian issue. Get it now before everyone wants one!!!

Classic Chicago Northern

Ethics: Look at Me Now (Vent) £20

Great Philadelphia Northen. Reactivated spins in the UK.

Four Tops: Something About You (Tamla Motown CA) £10

Nice Canadian copy of this classic motown/northern dancer

Marvin Gaye: One More Heartache/When I Had Your Love (Tamla) £10

His best double-sider in my opinion. Both sdes recent SN plays for me and both great dancers. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marvin Gaye: Come Get To This (Tamla) £10

Is it the greatest motwon record??? Some sai it is........well it's certainly one of the best 70's. Monster plays over the past few years and still a guaranteed floorfiller. Your collection wouldn't be complete without it.

Marvin Gaye: Ain't That Peculiar (Tamla Motown CA) £10

Classic Motown dancer from the great man and nice on Canadian

Leon Haywood: It's Got To be Mellow (Decca) £10

Edwin Starr: Girls Are Getting Prettier (Ric Tic wol) £5

Classic Detroit Northern form the great man.

Supremes: Where Did Our Love Go (Stateside) £5

Yes it was a huge hit but don't try telling me it's not a brilliant soul record. Hands up all those dancing around the chalet to it in Cleethorpes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Vogues: True Lovers (Co + Ce) £10

Great version of the Four Chaps at half the price. Brilliant group midtempo.

Dee Dee Warwick: When Love Slips Away (Mercury) £20

Brilliant midtempo. Same (and as good as IMO) as Margo and Marvettes at a fraction of the price. Recommended.

Seem to say this about every record of his that I list but.....one of his best double-headers. Didn't I is a great funky 70's dancer that I've spun at SN and the Neptune niters while the flip is a beat ballad to die for..............looks great on a Canadian Burgundy!!? Issue

Nancy Wison: Where Does That Leave Me (Capitol) £15

Awesome female version of the Romance Watson monster at a fraction of the price. Recommended
