All the copies I've had, have played with (annoying) background noise.

Yes that's what mine sounds like :thumbup:

I have a studio acetate of this track that sounds great.

Bought a copy from Adey Pierce in mint condition a couple of years ago played with annoying background noise , So sold it on recently for £50 thought the copy i had in the 80s played better but still had some background noise. Great record played at Stafford by D Thorley.
