Posted February 18, 200916 yr Hi all, Becket here. Would like some sort of sanity check on the above. Heard this off a list a few years back and loved it immediately (seem to remember seller wanted £100 at the time) Found one on GEMM for $10 back then. I saw a copy went on ebay for $800+ not long ago (Popsike) Is this a real rarity peeps? Seems it is from around 1971 out of Ohio ? Anyone ever heard it played out ? Any info gratefully received. Cheers............. Tom. Banbury.

I think this is mainly unknown so there really isn't an established price, but it is pretty tare. I would. Be glad to pay 100 pounds to upgrade my copy (although I do have a mint promo which doesn't have that side). This is an uptempo version of an ojays song btw.

Tried finding a copy ,did all the research and turned so many stones ,still nowt Its now on the backburner wants list ,im sure it'll turn up by accident one day when i've long given up hope. February 22, 200916 yr Both sides have been spun in the Down Beat Lounge (now the Jim Wray Room)at Soul Essence in the past in a couple of my sets. Both sides of this 45 by Pandella Kelly are heavily linked to members of the OJays, written and/or produced by their members, Levert, Massey & Williams. A division of Saru Records who the OJays also recorded for. Defo 1971 onwards release as Bobby Massey left the OJays in 1971 to become a producer and this track was co produced by him. Sadly no info on PK. Dave Halsall

Dave Halsall again, this is an ojays cover. stand-in for love was the intended b-side as it's not released on the promo. probably the o'jays version came out first. i actually asked andrew hamilton, who did some work for saru, if he remembered pandella kelly, he said he didn't.

Never really saw it after that until the copy came up on Ebay a few months back. Pretty rare me thinks Andy Mac
