Hey all,

I'm new to this forum. Been collecting soul and funk records for over 30 years now but I never really got into internet  weird huh

I was wondering if somebody has a scan of the 7" of Dennis Edwards - Johnnie On The Spot from 1966

There are many reissues out and I have a friend who claims to have seen it in a second hand shop here and he has bought it for 10$ but he wants to be sure that it is the real thing. Many reissues around but the 7" is number 100. Label is International Soulville Records

I could post a picture soon but I want to know if the original color of this pressing has a dark brown/black sleeve with silver letters?

The black label copies are reissues/boots.

The original demo is white with black type. The original issue is off-white with a red International Soulsville logo and credits in black type.

Pretty rare in either original format. Hope this helps.

ORIGINAL STOCK COPY £3000 DEMO £2500 ACCORDING TO THE LAST QUIDE SEEN THE STOCK COPY GO FOR A LITTLE MORE AND THE DEMO BIT LESS EITHER WAY IF ITS REAL HES SAT ON A GEM OF A RARE SOUL RECORD.
