Although I'm aware of the fact that the word legend is used a bit too often I gotta say he truely was one of the biggest New Orleans legends who had a big influence on the local soul/r&b/funk sound we all love so much.

Yes, RIP to a towering figure whose contributions to R&B will never be forgotten. Absolutely a legend & absolutely one of the greats. Sad news.

I am shocked, just another loss of one of Soul music true greats. Just imagine what the Soul sound of the Crescent City would have been without him. Makes it rally sad day.
