Director/Choreographer Matt Stokes had been commissioned by Gateshead Council to make this film (a 2 minute cycle featuring nine different dances: Charleston, Punk, Rave, Breakdancing, Rockabilly, Northern Soul, Morris Dancing, Ska and Heavy Metal.). The film was projected on a loop - as Public Art, in a disused Shop window in Gateshead Town Centre in the Summer of 2011. -

Jo asked me to make a couple of edits to the article (see below) and add the photos you can now see mike For those that may not have heard the sad news, Ian Prinsen, my beloved 'Prin', passed away suddenly & unexpectedly of heart failure on 17 August aged 47 years. His funeral was on Tuesday 6th Sept and he had a great send-off with a scooter escort & many of his mod & soulie friends were among those who attended the service.
