heres some info from old/returning feature the ad-libs returned to the studio in 1982 to record "i donâ"ž¢t need a fortune on the passion label. inredibly, during the pressing of the first (and only) 1000 copies of the record, a mistake was made and the records were pressed with the labels reversed. the mistake was not noticed until all but a handful of copies were left to be pressed. with only about ten copies having the labels on the correct sides, most of the copies had to be destroyed. less than a hundred of the (label-reversed copies) were saved and given to the ad-libs to use for promotion. as a result, this record is now extremely rare with labels reversed and impossible to find with labels on the correct way. check out below for more info https://www.classicurbanharmony.net/Ad-Libs.htm

just me or anyone else sick of a certain record dealer using third party monkeys to spam web sites used to happen on here all the time, got rid and now the chump is showing up elsewhere all a bit cheap and tacky

nah no offence, I just didn't really get the bit I quoted or the comparison to another film, given the history on here thru out the years there was always issues, with many posts about wait till its out and such with it showing on tv, I would say that a thread like this is a sort of logical opportunity to close the door on whole thing for good sort of a final reckoning if know what I mean

as posted here - going thru some improvements part of this is a change how the forums are both setup and modded we are going for a new forum team who will look after the new forum section as said in the link above firstly just like to pass on thanks to Chalky and Roger who have been looking after the two forums an dmore for a fair old while now , they be moving onto as per link above The setup/change over is still ongoing but shortly the new team below will be in place and will start looking after the new forum section setup Dave Moore, nubes, pikeys dog, boba, and Russ Vickers, as always ask all members to help assist both this change over and also in the future by carrying on to respect the mods and play by the terms of use cheers now mike

on my travels around some of the not so mentioned features, noticed that have just hit the 1000 locations in the soul map feature so an excuse for a quick morning shout about it not only does it show members locations on a map it also shows up on members profiles - maybe good for real world record dealing, meet ups, ? its also gets used in the event guide - so can view all events within 50 odd miles of your location as per /calendar/local plus if got a few minutes spare you can play with zoom etc and get a sort of dynamic interesting but doesnt really mean much view of the soul source membership /membermap/

don't think saw these in the 70/80s sections in gallery may be worth an addition as images/threads can get lost in the forums with the turnover of new threads the yesterdays section is building up to quite a decent archive and sure the above pics be of interest to someone in the future /gallery/category/33-yesterdays/

joan yep can be done, did try once, but run out of time to finsih, will have a look at going at it again forums - yesterdays now merged in aats intros will shortly be merged into freebasing a few planned changes are in progress , a later post will have more info/details etc monday mike
