  1. Interesting you should mention that Sue I used to know Mick and a few of the other 'castle lads from back then when they used to come in Lion and Bell to us lot before we went soulin Anyway on saturday night I went to a football do with lads that I play football with and we had a small??? piss up . Anyway one of the lads I play footie with is Mick's son. After our sesh Andy (micks lad) says you might as well kip at mine --to save buggering about with a taxi home queing etc. I says ok. Got his house and Mick was still up watching telly. Had a quick natter to him--tried,but couldn't persuade him come the Torch reunion He aint been into the scene for ages Graham Pratt--didn't he go out with Ann Mckenzie from Congleton back in the early 70's??--also didn't he have a brother as well who was on the scene?
  2. Blimey Steve this thread is thowing up some names from the past--hope they all going to the Reunion
  3. Don't worry you could possibly be right There was always a 'gang' of Crewe lads we saw and knew at the Torch. So until someone comes up with a better one --Dave Bettany's looking fave at the moment

  21. As an 'oldies' person ,for want of a better word its more difficult for me to comment...............however I went to Junction 17 in leafy Sandbach in South Cheshire last month. One of the guest DJ's was Phil Dick. I must say he did a magnificent set.(not saying the other dj's didnt)--- A 'true' mix of everything --rare,oldies,underplayed,rnb, the whole bloody gambit!! Even an unreleased 'newie' Must say he hit the spot for me and a majority in there by the looks of things. Credit where credits due--well thought out and kept everyones interest. Well done that man
