What a fantastic video. It had me smiling from ear to ear on a grey pissing down Friday.
  2. It may be was john, but the first time I heard it was by Chris.
  3. Respect to Chris Anderton for being the first person i ever heard play this back in the 90's. We all wanted a copy but it was impossible.......until now.
  4. There's an image in my head that I don't really want there.

Good luck Aaron. I hope you find out who the f@cker is and that you get 'em back. (or I should say your mate).

Sublime drumming and percussion. War - Flying Machine. and one of my favourite drum intros. Leroy Hutson - All Because of you.
  12. Hope you're keeping well Alex. Both sides of the Louise Murray 12" are great. What a voice! Are the labels the wrong way round? Mine are on my copy.
  13. Even Joss must have felt depressed knowing that she would never be able to come close to the Dells masterpiece. Still, a few people might get to hear the Dells' version as a result and just think how lucky they will be to hear it for the first time.
  14. Is that an R n' b thing Val?
  15. I hope she does appreciate them Win, obviously someone in her camp does, to suggest it as a cover in the first place. I just hope Robbie Williams doesn't start to appreciate the Dells as well. Joss does a decent version there to be honest but I wish some things were just left alone.
  16. Yep, I consider myself a close second to Marvin Junior...ahem.... Why do you ask?
  17. Fair play to the lass, she's got a great voice, she's quite probably a very nice person and she doesn't seem to crave the ridiculous celebrity lifestyle and limelight that everybody else does, but why did she have to cover probably my favourite Dells record eh? Why Joss, why? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwSzXu-L4IA
  18. Try John Fisher (Local on here) he might have a copy. He was kind enough to give me a copy for nowt one time when I DJ'd for him.
  19. It's a great example of a record bridging the gap between the 60's and the 70's. It signals a lot of the studio techniqes and smooth edges that were to come later on. It would drop nicely into any 70's / crossover set and not sound wrong.
  20. Yes, I enjoyed that. A young Austin Mitchell interviewing if I'm not mistaken. Really nicely shot film footage and a nice end song that should have been a decent pop hit by the sound of it.
  21. Oh dear. I really hope the Double O's Demingos doesn't get the treatment. I nearly spat my coffee out at the Temptations 45 though!!
