Woah there TSU Tomatoes. You should be charging people to hear the Mystique clip. Possibly one of the very best ever ,ever Chicago Curtom 70's sounds.!! luckily it's never too far to reach from my turntable, shame it's not a 45. Another that always slays me is Chocolate Milk - How about love (RCA)........ Jordi
  3. I'd vouch for this. Funky 8 corners is virtually the same record as Frankie Crocker, and for £25 for an orig it makes sense to get get it while you can. The 'A' side is a bit of a "party" version with vocal shouts and laughter which is mixed way too high, but the flip is the instrumental Frankie Crocker deal. Jordi
  4. Richard, I've PM'd you. Jordi
  5. Gash, it could be Danny Williams - All those lies. Forgot the label, but it is a rare one. Jordi
  6. I noticed that utter shoite Gerri Halliwell soundalike bilge by Frank Popp (Hip Teens) going for stupid money on ebay the other night. What the hell is that all about? Whatever it ended up as (it was £60+ when I saw it) has got to make it the most overpriced record at the mo. Jordi
  7. I've heard worse. Sounds a bit like Bobby Womack. Jordi
  8. Des, I think to be fair to Ian Clarke, he often puts things as "open to offers" if he doesn't know what to charge, not necessarily because he thinks it's worth loads. Nice catchy, lightweight 70's dancer tho' but surely not worth a lot. Jordi
  9. Should cost you about £50. Look on Ebay, that's where I got mine (less than £50) Jordi

2 records worth probably 2.5 grand. Jordi
  11. Cheers Andy. I've been offered a copy but neither the seller or me knew how to price it. A strangely compelling record that I wasn't too sure whether I liked, but on second hearing it just got better and better. Oddball as you say, can't believe they are white. It's seriously intense and uncommercial sounding, makes you wonder how they came to record something like that. Jordi
  12. Peter & Wolfs anybody? Chalkster? Jordi
  13. Hi, Has anyone any info and price on this tune. Peter and the Wolves - My Heart is True (Bridge Society) Cheers my dears. Jordi

I think about £80 is more like it. or you could try and get the Jean Battle version complete with fairground organ break. Jordi
  15. I keep seeing Morris Chestnut credited on films. Is it the same one and only? Jordi

I think it's LP only. I also think it came out on a comp, may be a Street Sounds comp. I could also be talkin' bollox. Jordi
  17. Wasn't this for sale on here recently (Karl?) for about £350. Jordi
  18. It's not the same Danny Williams who sang "All those lies" is it? Jordi
  19. What was the record booted as the Detroit Shakers, "Help Me". Was it the Outsiders from Wolverhampton? Who were they? I used to love it but it probably hasn't stood the test of time like so many others from then. Jordi
  20. Cheers for that Pat, but I looked and couldn't find it after doing a search on his site. I think i'm sorted now anyway thanks. Jordi
  21. I'm trying to get hold of a copy of We The People - "Cat and Mouse" on Map City. Can some kind person put me out of my misery. No suggestions please. Jordi
  22. Cheers me dears!
  23. Ah yes, cheers Simon, but it needs to be a CD. Jordi
  24. Cheers Simon, but I can' seem to find the bugger. Jordi
  25. I was playing a mate this LP the other night and he now badly wants it, although he doesn't want to pay for an orig. I know it was re issued on vinyl, but can anyone point me in the direction of a cd of it? (Gareth?) Jordi
