All set and ready to go for our 3rd installment of 'Off The Track' at the Wheatsheaf pub in Walsall on Sunday September 7th. Our special guest this month will be Les Beaton who is a big favourite of mine. While Les is known by many for his popular Northern soul events in Wolverhampton, Les' tastes are much more ecclectic. Les will be playing a set of Modern Soul/Funk/Jazz and Latin in his own inimitable style. One not to miss. 5pm is your needle drop start time, get in early for the mellow burners.

July's first installment of the re-born 'Off The Track' was a big success and feedback has been very positive and gratefully received. I worked that one on my own as I wanted to check out new, untested equipment and try to iron out any bugs if there were any. Luckily there weren't any! However the next night on Sunday August 3rd it gives me great pleasure to welcome back 'Crazy G' Roy Grey, as my guest spinner. Roy has many years experience working clubs, radio stations and events as a DJ. As part of the legendary Chique Squad in Birmingham in the 80's and 90's, Roy is well known to many. Expect extreme high quality music, excellent sound system, great people, fantastic venue and bar. Looking forward to round 2.

After 5 years at the Fountain Pub in Walsall covid struck the night down. We are now re-launching at the Wheatsheaf Pub in Walsall on the first Sunday of each month. Starting at 5 pm till about 9 pm the event will be vinyl only, playing the very best in Modern Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco with nice choice cuts of Reggae thrown in the mix. What a great way to spend a Sunday evening.
