LAST NIGHT JOHN PARKER UNITED SOUNDS OF SOUL Still shaking my head at some of the sounds he played... he played everything I would have played if I had the money to get serious about this collecting lark... JUST AWESOME!!

Have to say I'm a bit surprised how quiet this thread is... considering the amount of DJ's that are on here...

I'm guessing that the majority on here are of the thinking that an enthusiastic DJ can add something to a night? & it seems there are a few DJ's who dance behind the decks to their own spot... I just wish more would apply that kind of enthusiasm to the other 7 spots of the night.

Here's a thought... do some DJ's think they are above dancing to other DJ's spots?

You would think so wouldn't you. But could you stand... or sit there... showing absolutely no emotion what so ever for 8 hours? I very much doubt it my friend. Some might as well be in a launderette they look that bored!

Oooh Paul... not going anywhere at the weekend isn't good for you! All I can say is I'm glad this isn't in my section One thing that has had me thinking for ages though... is why... as a rule... don't DJ's dance? Did they dance before they became 'DJ's'? ... and if so... why don't they dance now?

Sorry Jon.. I can't help with getting you a copy... but just wanted to say I love this tune. Last copy I seen for sale was years ago... always reminds me of Pete Miles for some reason. He'll still have his copy under his bed... along with every other tune I've ever wanted... that man had great taste

One of the first records I ever bought... over 20 long years ago... still got it now. You should get one easy enough gal... GREAT TUNE

Yeah... both 45s are tops! Doesn't really matter which side you prefer... you get one... you get the other. Unless like me... your other side won't play right the way through Still... not bad for a tenner

I would say demos are much rarer than issues... only ever seen one demo and that's Chris Jones's. You got a demo then.... you little tinker?

Know who you mean now Kirsty... So very sad. My thoughts go out to her family and friends. Remember being in Rob the Stick's Land Rover... me and Tony in the back... Teresa in the front. Rob ended up going up this massive curb... sorry.. central reservation type thingy ... all of us ended up being thrown up in the air... records everywhere... along with a bar of Dairy Milk we were trying to eat... couldn't find it anywhere... until Teresa went to get out of the car... and found she was stuck to the seat... so funny....

Well.. i was nearly there... i'm only a girl after all! They do look identical though... ask Rob.. had a bit of fun with him giving him back a boot as a laugh... oh and we did laugh.... Rob Now anyone any idea of a value?

My opinion... for what its worth... is that this is a hard record. I got mine off Rob Marriot in the early 90s... not seen another for sale since.. but then again.. I haven't been looking. Great tune Just looked it up in Manship's 3rd edition... and it's not there! I'm sure I don't need to mention to be careful... because the bootlegs look identical to the original... except for the bell sound stamp.

Sorry about that Phil... can you ever forgive me? I WISH So who's the lucky winner then?
