  3. Cliff Steele is awesome .... always has been! So too is ANDY WHITMORE ...... always plays something i've never heard before .... and always class. Both more than do the business with 60s and the newer stuff. If these 2 were booked to play more ...... then you would really see the scene moving forward

Hey Ritch, What a fantastic record! Only had it a couple of weeks myself actually .... paid £20 for it ... bit of a bargain me thinks Played it Friday night .... and boy ... it SOUNDED AWESOME!! PS: Nowhere near as awesome as you dancing last night with that scarf over your face!! That has got to be the funniest thing i've seen in years ...... still laughing now
  6. He'll have enough to fill a niter when it does!! God ... if mine catches me at the same time ..... what a packer! Yeah .... Frobisher me thinks .... you and the cabbage going
  7. Hi Sharyn, Tell him i said he's a cabbage
  8. I know i'm no big jock .... but i play it all the time .... played it at Lowton last Friday actually. Fantastic record ..... LOVE IT!!

  11. I AGREE!!! Have played this out myself the odd time. Was played last Saturday at Piercebridge by Gaz Simon ..... it sounded FAB. Record of the night for me ..... without doubt! Love it
  12. Oh my giddy aunt .....
  13. I'd love it to be either BUDDY LAMP, LEE ROGERS or EMANNUEL LASKEY. .......... that's counting on them not having checked out already that is!
  14. I think it was a really good set! Just because you may have heard a record loads of times .... doesn't make it any less of a good record! For me personally the thing that makes a record a truly GREAT soul record is if it's one that sounds as GOOD the last time you heard it, as it did the first time you heard it, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU'VE HEARD IT! There are LOADS in there that i would definitely play ...... if i was lucky enough to have them!
  15. BLOODY HELL ....... NOW THAT'S SCARY!!!
  16. Yeah ..... those radio ads are hilarious!! Forgot all about them till you said Baz .... really funny. Saw Tony a couple of months ago at a do in Bedford. If anybody see's or speaks to him .... can they ask him to get in touch with me please? Thanks.
  17. Join the queue ........ although willingness to part with ridiculous amounts of cash usually means you can jump straight to the front ..... .......... or in front of me anyway!! This record is FAB!! Good luck
  18. This was done by a lad from Bedford called Tony Warot, probably about 15years ago ..... in his bedroom would you believe!! It took him YEARS to get it just right, as one - Erma Franklin i think - was slightly faster. An amazing achievement without doubt. Fantastic!
  19. Same as a lot of people on here .... i hadn't seen Ozzy for a number of years. Was kept up to date though through Martin and Debbie and also Craig who were in regular contact with him ..... even though he was a very hard person to be a friend to towards the end. Very sad and such a waste ..... like Jock and Ady have said already, he was a sweet person and extremely funny. Can still picture one Sunday night at Mark George's flat ...... a Kung Fu film on the telly with the sound turned down and Ozzy and Ant doing the voices to their own script .......... So funny! Had to be there of course! Anyway ..... he's at peace now ..... which can only be a good thing. God Bless fella xx
  20. Now you mention it Simon ..... neither have i! Then again ...... don't see the issue all that often either ...... (well i haven't anyway)
  21. I've got one .......... how much are you offering? Anyone know what it lists at please?
  22. Oh yeah ..... sorry girlie!! All the best for Monday Rach
  23. Isn't it just!! Note to self : GET A GOD DAMN PRICE GUIDE !!
