I have to hand it to you Mr. Roberts (I am respectful even if you aren't) if the way you run your business is to terrify and bully people so much that they have to pm and email because they are too intimidated to post on the forum, then you certainly are successful. I know what I believe and I believe the people who were there and who I know have nothing to lose, or more importantly gain, by lying about the whole unsavoury episode. Taken to task? I am flattered you are so bothered by me. Ticket counterfeiter? Did he counterfeit the wristbands as well? Because I am certain the people locked out had wristbands and not just tickets? But if I am wrong about that I will hold my hands up.

For the record I didn't "come on here specifically to slag a record off" the thread was already here and I just said I didn't like it. Are you saying you can only post if you like something? I would never come on here slagging anybody for playing anything. I am with you, some of the records didn't do it for me at Radcliffe either but I am one person in a room full of people and if the dance floor is busy it is job done in my book.

Not a cheap shot at all Kev. Of course I saw the thread and that is not how I remember it. Anyway back to your last post. You mention there being "a Motown/Soul night in virtually every town" I have to say you are guiltier than anyone of this. And before you say it, I am not having a go. I genuinely want to understand why you feel the need to have to promote so many venues. As for your "scamsters trying to con you out of tickets with the old 'never received them in the post mate'... comment. How do you know they didn't receive their tickets? Things go missing in the post all the time. Yet you expect people to believe someone counterfeited 150 wristbands - not tickets - of yours.

You forgot to mention promoters who sell way too many tickets for their event and have punters locked outside on the pavement unable to get into an event they legitimately bought tickets for.

Anyone going down to the next one to hand flyers out? Inside the venue and free of charge of course.
