Just Love this record , but curious about who discovered / played it first ? First heard it at Stafford , BUT was that the first venue it was played or last year at Wigan ?

My mate guest dj'd at another mates birthday party and played the lads records, albeit his lesser known records + b sides from his collection , set up by wife, guess what ? Mate thanked the other lad for a truly memorial set and asked him where he got his set from and could he buy a few !! even though it was his collection he had used !!!! You never know you're own collection that in depth !!!

Did any others get played / make it big on the scene and is this still played / value ?

Always remember going to a night in Chinatown , London , late 90's , I was working in the city and my mates flew down from Scotland for a weekend of debauchary , anyway Joey Negro ( aka Dave Lee ) was hosting and it was a cracking night , BUT !! I had never met him before , so , Upon arrival , my mates went to the bar and I went upstairs to the bog , passing through a small dance floor with a guy setting up the decks and his records , upon doing my business , I could see the guy was struggling with his boxes and lent a hand , he thanked me , introduced himself as Dave and stated we were in for a good night , I duly told him not to piss about up here on his own later as we would all be dancing to Joey Negro's set , and if he wanted a packed dancefloor to play my recommendations !!! Article lifted from Popsike - 2007 The Torch All-Nighter, Tunstall, Stoke- on -Trent. Anyone remember it? I'll bet there's a fair few. My Dad told me years ago that The Torch was a picture house (cinema) locally known as The Bug hut, he even said that you came out scratching. Yeah O.K. Dad, when I came out of there, I came out sweating. Anyway, sorry to all you record collectors because these two little beauties are not records, but I didn't know what category to put them in, and if The Torch isn't in that category, then will someone please E-mail me with a better suggestion. Agreed !!!! Always remembers me of a terrible soul night I went to , 20 people tops , and this guy was completely pissed and danced to this record by spinning and losing control , flattening a girl going to the bog !!!!!!!!!

Mates brother was there the fri night they filmed and he winged for britain that the cameras turned up , stating the scene was doomed !! ( blah , blah , blah ) He went on that this never happened at The Wheel , carried on for for another few years and gave me all his records & patches , result !!!!
