Only Bob Martin's Flea Powder, for Max's protection, of course!

Just wondering, as Max will have to listen all genres of (northern) soul music, is he a "cross-the-border" collie?

yeh, and 19 of those 20 years seem to have been that never-ending crap guitar solo!

Just got a email from a friend informing of the fact and asked me to pass it on; I'll ask.
  8. Thank god for that; my trousers are either that big or have that many pleats and pockets, I spend that last 25 years ironing them and it would be a shame not to be able to sport them in front of the stage and end up looking like a div! Anyone know of an easy way to get Brut out of the bottle and into the steam- water chamber of an iron?

Bert died around 2 years ago.
  10. I don't know if us oldies fans live in the past or not, I don't get out much. But whilst I'm here can anyone confirm some extremley distressing news i've just heard; apparently Wigan Casino is on the verge of closing, can anyone confirm, before I set off to a nighter there?
  11. The gravity of such a faux pa is dependent on the quality of the tune involved, and in this case and such a quality sound, I don't think you have a case to answer!
  12. It what I call my "reverse stop-loss" i.e. the most I'd ever pay for a record; funny how it changes with time and income! Was once £10, missed out on a Jimmy Bo Horne - speak & Ray Pollard @£15 a pop! At £20 I missed out on Larry Clinton & Arin Demain! At £100, missed the Nomads! And so on................ However, the feeling of disapoinment has never been the same as paying £60 for a 'must have' recorded I rated at £40 max to see it on every other list at £30 for the next few years!!!! Set a limit and stick to it, or you'll find it's better to have a crack cocaine habit!

Even if a WD of it existed, wouldn't it have 'MADE IN USA BY END RECORDS. A DIVISION OF ROULETTE RECORDS INC' at the bottom too?

T'other side Better IMO, but both overated @ a grand a side?
  18. So is that the definative answer - Tommy Knight - Baby My Love? Cheers I think the only definative part of the answer is that it's called 'Baby My Love'. I think the reason it got attributed to TK is that it sounds like a Abtone studio acetate of Tea House In China Town by TK?
  19. If you change the 'can' to 'gonna', we can put it down to the Combinations on Kimtone ?
  20. Pets - I say yeah ?
