Hi Guys Chuck Ray used to be a frequent give away in Soul Bowl soul packs nobody wanted it, it was deemed too slow at the time. It wasn't until crossover became popular and as Rick Scott mentions it received spins at Thorne it gained any value. The other side "Come Alive" Came out on another Chicago label Five-O with a rather dubious funk flip I.M.O It still baffles me why this is regarded as a £300-£400 record. Dave W

This Aquarius label was out of the Highland Park area of Michigan. Hi Cliff As for Pam Bowie if memory serves me right, she was a one time girlfriend of Ric Williams who also wrote He's All I Need/Everlasting Love. My first copy of this 45 was autograghed by Pam who gave this to a friend of mine's wife in the states. Pam also wrote a dedication to my friends wife, "To A Real Live Doll, Walkin' Talkin' etc which dates Pam's release to around the time of Cliff's( that Richard not Steele) NoI Hit "Living Doll" I was told that Pam was either a school teacher at the time or went onto be come one later. Hi Guy's Here's my contribution to this thread. The majority of the copies of "Roy Robert's So Much In Love" turned up in 2006 through Andy Dyson via one of his contacts stateside. Circa the same time, I turned three copies up directly from Roy, as at the time we had just released his " If You Can't Put It Out (Don't Light My Fire) 45, aswell as setting him up with the gig at Prestatyn I kept a copy for my collection, one copy stayed in the UK and the other copy went to the Far East.
