John Peel Rip
Sad news indeed. Remember listening to John Peel on the way home from late shifts between 1985-1988, every night a varied playlist. I actually bought a 12" single by Screamin' Tony Baxter (Get Up Offa That Thing - A tribute To James Brown), after hearing it on his show, I've never heard it other than in my living room since! Also how many Punk records of early 80's had, thanks to John Peel on them?

Some people don't look at Ebay much, check out this one instead! Buy It Now For A Tenner! Cheaper than bidding up the other one. Also its an alternate version to TMG1170! I'm trying to find a link to sample.

After A Hard Day's Work, It's Nice To
Got home today and found two records waiting for me. Both of which I got off Ebay, at less than what Mr Manship was asking for! The Superiors - Let Me Make You Happy b/w Can't Make It Without You (MGM Promo) The Avons - Since I Met You Baby b/w He's My Hero (Excello) I bought The Avons blind after asking on here about, The Hytones - Bigger & Better, and someone suggested the Kent CD, Uptown Down South. I saw it listed on there and thought gotta be worth buying, when I saw it at less than a tenner (was $9.99, Manship wanted £30)! Like everybody keeps saying, "Cheap Originals- You Can't Beat 'Em!"

Cueing perils
Cueing perils??? How do you avoid going in off? Do you go for the easy pink or the difficult brown?

Two Left Feets
How about every record played at a Do? Unless of course I'm P*ssed!

To: All You Dj's. Have You Ever
To all you DJ's out there, Have you ever turned up at any Do and said "I'm not playing my records on the crap equipment you've got !" ? It was just something I was thinking about whilst walking home from work. I mean you spend hundreds on records and sometimes you get people who think the equipment on which it's played isn't that important (I'm hardly one to talk, if you could see my archaic stereo!). Anyway like I said, I was just wondering.
