No drill hole in this copy, which lay mis-filed for over 20 years, so you won't find another copy in such great condition for some time to come. Postage included. Payment by cheque, transfer or paypal (fees on me). Please PM if interested. temp1 71.mp3 Thanks for looking, Lee
  3. Can anyone recommend a seller of picture frames for vinyl? Looking to put a 45 and sleeve in a frame, bought one a couple of years ago but lost details of the seller. Cheers, Lee
  4. Three little pigs, ignore the title, excellent R&B track.
  5. I can see how it's easy to come to the conclusion that I'm after records! In a roundabout way it comes down to that, but not in the way you think. I posted the question on behalf of a long term friend and big radio station chart collector in the US who wants to acquire UK and European charts. All that's in it for me is some credit that can be used against his warehouse stock of vinyl, he's always been a good source for me so I opted to help him in his search. Anyway I can't be doing with a whole generation of UK music genres when there's so much US label Northern to be had, so tapping anyone up for records wasn't the aim. Still looking for leads re: original radio station charts and playlists.
  6. Is there anyone on Soul Source who was or knows someone who had connections with the British or European Music / Record Industry, possibly in Promotions or Marketing during a period 50's through to 70's. I assume that, as in the United States, UK and European record companies received promotional mailings from radio stations, which sent their playlists and charts so that they would get on the mailing list for new releases. If you think you may be able help me obtain old radio station charts or playlists from the UK or Europe I would like to hear from you. Cheers, Lee
  7. Looking for a mint minus copy preferably, excellent at worst. Please let me know you're asking price. Thanks, Lee
  8. Superb Detroit double sider for sale. Sound files and / or scan can be sent on request. Postage and other bits at the bottom. Rose Batiste - Hit & run / I miss my baby - Revilot 204 Wdj Vg++ £325 (Sparkling white labels, when do you see that on such a popular Detroit 45? Vinyl has some fine superficial marks under light hence the grading of Vg++, (or Ex- if it helps) but it plays M- both sides. The buyer won't be disappointed) UK Postage: £2.50 for 1st class recorded (insured £46) £6.35 for special delivery (full insurance) Overseas postage on request. 45 sent on receipt of payment, always well wrapped and labeled. Cash, cheque, bank transfers and paypal (GIFT IT PLEASE) accepted. Thanks for looking, Lee

  16. Duncan, trouble is, as much as you and I and others want to earn positive feedback for our sales (and purchases for that matter), posting feedback is down to the individual. I've sold enough through soul source to earn the same excellent reputation I have in private sales for well over 25 years and ebay for half that, so unless the buyer goes to the effort of leaving feedback or the idea is enforced the systems no help. You have to start somewhere, great way to do so with those 2 Ric-Tics, Lee

  21. Gene, I am sure It was Richard Pack I was chatting to some years ago about his record buying forays and artist searches in Detroit, I always marvelled at his record finds and the stores & archives he had access to, a particularly interesting snippet was that he had been introduced to a local barber, one Buddy Smith who then went on to discuss his Brute recording. Not sure whether it was a meeting that was destined for Richard's superb "Soul Survivor" magazine, which prematurely folded. Regards, Lee
  22. One of the best shop finds I ever had, picked up a mint copy for £40 in the mid 90's when I was in Antwerp from the Belgian who is forever selling his shop on ebay . Oddly I paid more for a copy of Robert Portee on Diamond....what a steal the JD was.............................
